I really can't help it.

I just feel that everything is going to work out fine, not because it logically has to, but because I want it to.

Just as I feel that I should be able to influence the weather or the arrival of a subway train by willing it with my mind, I also feel that I will be able to influence the future through my actions and my desires.

Weather eventually clears up and trains arrive (even the G) and along those same lines the future occasionally turns out the way you wanted it to without you really having a say in the matter.

All the same, I'm glad I feel this way.

If things are going to work or not work regardless of my say so, then I'd really rather have the illusion that I'm doing something right.

Dear Harry,

How are you ever so patient to do that much detail on an alligator head? That's pretty awesome(I would still love to see you play around with color! *ahem* maybe another collab idea). heheh @ rubber chicken still life.

Also in regards to your actual post consisting of words, I would like to say the G train's timing was because WE willed it so :P
And it's a very good thing to want things to pan out because you will it so, I think generally that's how things do work mixed in with (probably alot of) effort and different ways of looking at things.
I also feel, however, that if you FEEL that you are doing something right then it's not an illusion, it's what you feel IS right if it is honest :)

By the way, I had a fantastic time this weekend :3

They've done studies on that kind of stuff - of picturing how you want your future to be, and getting it. The people who do spend time doing this are more likely to get what they desire.
